Hi,
When I am in HR-ABAP training I found a little bit confusion about the infotype time constraints, So i had posted in SCN forums about to know the different types of inftoypes for each time constraint. I came to know on my own about different infotypes.
Before going to the subject lets I will discuss about the infotype i.e. what and why it is basically.
What is infotype?
Infotypes refer to a grouping of fields with related content (or) from a tehnical prespective, it is a structure , a grouping of attributes. Infotypes are identified with a four digit number in SAP. Infotype master details table is T582A.
for example for education details , personal details, basic pay details etc.

What is time constraint?
Time constraint used to describe each inftotype those are namely start date, end date of the storing record or informatin in infotype. With these dates we can provide time information.
For example Education detail In a certain speicfic period we can do more than one course in parallel and also there exist some gaps in between courses.
And also infotypes can be described according to the frequency with which they occurs. For example there is information that can only occur once during a speicific period and ther is also informatin that cna only occur once during any period.

Before we are going to create any custom infotype the basic and primary data required is what the scope of the data we are going to store and its time constraint should be finalized first.
Few infotypes with different Time constraints are as below. You can also get the below data for any infotypes from T582A database table in SE16.
