The configuration of thisfunctionalityis done in threesteps, whichwe will explainbelow:
- Definition ofrelevantinfotypesfor the record: inthis step, we indicate that infotypesare likelymanaged in thelog.
- Defining groupsof fieldsinfotype: within eachinfotypetherelevantfieldstoindicatethatrecordingisthechange log. Fieldsare organized into groups, so that when youmake a change toany of thefields in the group, information is savedthe value ofall fields in thegroup.In the example, we have created a groupin infotypePersonal Data2fieldsName, Surname,IDTax andBirthplace.
Onceconfigured,theangerrecordingsystemmodifications made totherelevantinfotypesand fields, saving the information inthe database. Subsequently,weanalyze thechanges made usingthestandardreportRPUAUD00. Incase you wantto programto prepare ourown custom reports, we can usethe function modules:
- HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_LIST: for the resume.
- HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_DETAIL: for the detail of the modifications.
Using the report RPUAUD00 we can be select by different criteria such as employee infotype, date and user modification, etc.. It is a summary of the changes made by the selection criteria, and the detail information of the fields that have been modified (all belonging to the group, although they have not changed), with their previous values and new values .
